Aspen Life blogs about the epic bike race through the Rockies that could be epochal for you: “The Ride The Rockies route is different each year, but always climbs a few challenging mountain passes and showcases Colorado’s spectacular scenery. Daily rides can be as short as 35 miles or as long as 100 miles, but generally average 60-65 miles. This year’s ride has a field of 2,000 riders hailing from 49 states and five countries – all of whom received entry through a lottery. The ride begins Sunday June 17th in Frisco with stops in Steamboat Springs, Craig, Rifle and Glenwood Springs before arriving in Aspen on Thursday, June 21st via the Rio Grande Trail.”
