This week’s box will have more of the same and new this week will be baby onions, Georgian Crystal garlic and fennel. I am not positive what fruit I will have but I will try to get you the best I can find of whatever is ready.
You can order fava beans this week as an extra. They will not be part of the box. They are $3.00 a pound form Zephyros Farm. You can buy them in 3 pound or 5 pound increments.
I now carry James Ranch Artisan Cheese! James Ranch is located in Durango, Colorado and their cows are well loved and 100% grass pastured. Their cheeses are aged raw milk cheese and are making quite a sensation. We carry the Belford, which has a creamy gouda taste, and the Leydon, my favorite, which is a little harder with toasted lemon scented Cumin seed added to it. I think Fresh and Wyld are the only ones to carry this great cheese locally, so there!
The 100% grass-fed hamburger from Milagro Ranch run by Felix and Sarah Tornare are now offering their meat at a better price, down from $7.50 to $6.50. Thanks Felix and Sarah. It is so delicious!
Sue & Dave Whittlesey from High Wire Ranch are running two specials this week on their 100% grass-fed Bison. 1/3 pound bison patties are $6.25 (1 pound size) and bison short ribs are $4.00 a pound (aprox. 2 #)
We have added Haystack Peak to our Haystack Goat cheese line. It is a fresh 7 oz. pyramid that makes a great party cheese or table cheese. Bouquets from Zephyros Farm garden this week are fragrant, long lasting Lillys, Larkspur, Cosmos and Sunflowers. Organic Blooms make me smile!
