We have two Parties coming up. Our first is on a Sunday, September 9th, at Zephyros Farm & Garden here in Paonia. We are having a Farm Dinner under the stars. It is being cheffed by myself, Chef Ryan Hardy of the Little Nell, Mark Fischer of 689, and Paonia chefs Eleni Stelter of Eleni’s Uptown and Bob Isaacson of Smith fork Ranch. There will be live music and Local wines will be on sale. Cover Price is $35 with additional contributions if you can make them to a local farm fund. The next party is during the Mountain Harvest Festival, September 28-30, here in Paonia. This is a really fun festival, and if you can come the best day would be Saturday, the 29th. In the mid morning we will have farm tours so you can meet the people who have been growing your food and then we are sponsoring a big Hoe Down with th Kampe Foundtion and Delicious Orchards from 4-7 pm.
The Hoedown costs $ 10, it is in the Delicious orchard Groves, and we will have a local foods Bar-b-que, Live music to dance to, Fresh apple Cider and Beer. You don’t need to reserve, but if you want to tell me you are coming I would like that! Later that evening there will be at least 6 or 7 bands playing till all hours of the morning in Paonia, so plan on spending the night if you can. The next morning there is a Pancake Breakfast, an all day Street Carnival and block Party with more live music and a farmers market in downtown Paonia. Don’t miss it!
