JAS Ten-Spot Series at Thunder River Theatre
featuring the BOOCOO
Aspen, CO – November 12, 2007 – “Latin, Reggae, Country, Funk with Rock and Roll Gospel overtones in a Blues basement”, that’s BOOCOO, performing on Friday, November 23rd as part of the Jas Ten-Spot Concert Series, presented in association with Thunder River Theatre Company.
This rhythm and blues dance party features JAS In-Schools Director Chris Bank on saxophone, bass and vocals, Joe Kelly on guitar, piano and vocals and Chris Goplerud on drums, percussion and vocals. Joe Kelly is a former member of the Ike & Tina Band, and was with Ike for a number of years after they split. Goplerud has drummed with the Walt Smith Trio, James Marsh Trio and a number of other bands in the area.
Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at 920-4996 or at the door on the night of the performance. Showtime is 8pm at Thunder River Theatre. All proceeds will benefit JAS In-Schools programming.
