CON GAMES: How The Neocons Finally Won

Conservatives are much better with end games—and end of days—than liberals can ever hope to be, so it should come as no surprise to either side that neoconservatives achieved what they wanted in Iraq.

Maybe that explains why liberals should think twice or thrice before dissing President George W. Bush’s whistle-stop campaign between and among network anchors and available war colleges, the better to cement the legacy of cementheads. To lefties, the President is showing existential gall with his willingness to take credit for imaginary victory in Iraq and deposing a vicious dictator in Iraq—not to mention his irrefutable claim that the United States has not been attacked by jihadists since September 11, 2001.

But if you focus on what the puppet says you will miss the strings still attached to the mitts of the puppetmasters, the neoconservatives who plotted long and large to remove Saddam Hussein from the throne in Iraq.

At the end of the day—at the end of days—the neoconservatives pulled the strings on the levers of power and won in a cakewalk.

How can that be so? The aforementioned novelist-dictator was not only chased out of office but all but murdered in a horrendously uncivil action under the aegis of our flag. That’s just for starters. And with all the news about timetables for withdrawal of our combat forces, it’s all too easy to forget that we the people are not going anywhere in Iraq, not when you consider none other than President-Elect Barack Obama is now promising the indefinite care and maintenance of a “residual” force in Iraq of some 30,000 to 50,000 forces. Those are boots on the ground that are not coming home anytime soon.

If you don’t think the neocons won, ask yourself what it was they wanted in the first place. First: regime change in Iraq. Second: a permanent force in the Middle East not unlike the ones that been in Germany and South Korea for more than fifty years apiece.

Sure, the invasion of Iraq was a hopeless bungle, a bloody mess of historic proportions. But Saddam is a goner and we’re not going away. No wonder a timetable for withdrawal is no longer anathema to neoconservatives—because our residual force (and our private contractors) will continue to reside between and among the Kurds, the Shia, and the Sunni.

Thanks to the malleable policies of the pliable President George W. Bush, neoconservatives determined to rid the Middle East of Saddam Hussein after Gulf War I long before 9/11 converted tragedy into opportunity. With such conviction, the price to paid in dead American soldiers—and a country reduced to rubble—has to be considered a geopolitical bargain.

Considering this facet of the greater trauma, see what one of the “Godfathers” has to say about the larger canvas. See for yourselves how it all starts to make sense when combined with the totality of facets on this gemstone of life.

It would be great, but impossible if Mr. Conniff just laid out the fact, that we have criminals running this government instead of continuing the charade for his own personal gains, that of shaking pom poms to keep this left vs right “debate” going ad nauseam.

The country is at stake Mr. Conniff, and most people are tiring of the evil insanity and bullshit.

Well said info! Its going to be tough though when like I saw this morning when watching a little CNN a blurb for CNN that told how they would be your window on the transition and then (of course) the first “100 days”. MILK THAT DAMN COW!! (Opps, I forgot, its just what everyone wants.) Then it went on to show that CNN=POLITICS. Well, over 50% of its revenues worth anyway.

Just choose your denomination. Are you a CNN? A FOX? Perhaps a MSNBC.

Great article too. Here is a little more fuel for the mind.

Keep up the great work info. Hopefully, like Watergate, the masses will follow the info-truth eventually.

Flashback: Rove Threatened GOP IT Guru If He Does Not ‘Take the Fall’ for Election Fraud in Ohio, Says Attorney

Michael Connell, the Bush IT expert who has been directly implicated in the rigging of George Bush’s 2000 and 2004 elections, was killed last night when his single engine plane crashed three miles short of the Akron airport. Velvet Revolution (”VR”), a non-profit that has been investigating Mr. Connell’s activities for the past two years, can now reveal that a person close to Mr. Connell has recently been discussing with a VR investigator how he can tell all about his work for George Bush. Mr. Connell told a close associate that he was afraid that George Bush and Dick Cheney would “throw [him] under the bus.”

A tipster close to the McCain campaign disclosed to VR in July that Mr. Connell’s life was in jeopardy and that Karl Rove had threatened him and his wife, Heather. VR’s attorney, Cliff Arnebeck, notified the United States Attorney General , Ohio law enforcement and the federal court about these threats and insisted that Mr. Connell be placed in protective custody. VR also told a close associate of Mr. Connell’s not to fly his plane because of another tip that the plane could be sabotaged. Mr. Connell, a very experienced pilot, has had to abandon at least two flights in the past two months because of suspicious problems with his plane. On December 18, 2008, Mr. Connell flew to a small airport outside of Washington DC to meet some people. It was on his return flight the next day that he crashed.

On October 31, Mr. Connell appeared before a federal judge in Ohio after being subpoenaed in a federal lawsuit investigating the rigging of the 2004 election under the direction of Karl Rove. The judge ordered Mr. Connell to testify under oath at a deposition on November 3rd, the day before the presidential election. Velvet Revolution received confidential information that the White House was extremely concerned about Mr. Connell talking about his illegal work for the White House and two Bush/Cheney 04 attorneys were dispatched to represent him.

An associate of Mr. Connell’s told VR that Mr. Connell was involved with the destruction of the White House emails and the setting up of the off-grid White House email system.

Mr. Connell handled all of John McCain’s computer work in the recent presidential campaign. VR has received direct evidence that the McCain campaign kept abreast of the legal developments against Mr. Connell by reading the VR dedicated website, http://www.rovecybergate.com.

VR demands that the Ohio Attorney General and the United States Justice Department conduct a complete investigation into the activities of Mr. Connell and determine whether there was any foul play in his death. VR demands that federal law enforcement officials place the following people under protective custody pending this investigation. Heather Connell who is the owner of GovTech Solutions, Randy Cole, the former President of GovTech Solutions, and Jeff Averbeck, the CEO of SmartTech in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Both GovTech and SmartTech have been implicated in the rigging of the 2000 and 2004 elections and the White House email scandal. Our prior request to have Mr. Connell protected went unheeded and now he is dead.

gee, not another associate of Bush/Clinton found dead? He joins the over 300+ of such persons.

couldnt be a Conspiracy could it? nawwwww :)
