Former Aspen socialite Pamela Phillips has been ordered to stand trial in Pitkin County on charges DUI—and hitting another vehicle—-Phillips has been living in Switzerland—-she is wanted on an Arizona warrant for allegedly taking out a contract on her husband—Gary Lee Triano—in 1996.  He was killed after his car exploded at a Tuscon country club.  Phillips is working with Swiss lawyers in that case to convince U.S. authorities of her innocence—-but she has refused to return to this country.
