American culture enjoyed a single language and everyone pulling for our country.

America may have had a dominant language, but never a “single language.” A nation comprised and descended from a poly-linguistic pool of immigrants, entering a land of poly-linguistic peoples (Native Americans in this case), could never have had a “single language.” Your nostalgic pathos is bending the truth.

Nevertheless, this nation is in a state of decline, but within 30 years that can be reversed, through education and an environmentally sound economy. I am certain you have met vast multitudes, who feel an entitlement based on numerous demographics, the least of which is not being American.

The problem, as I have restated in many ways, is that there are too many people who are accepted as American, since they were born here instead of being “cultured” to understand that they need to be educated, and then earn or work for American citizenship. I want to repeat; The problems this country are facing are not irrereversable. We happen to have a generation and a half ages (15-35) of widespread waste weaned on x-box, nintendo and the rest of the vidiot games, with many thinking that someone owes them. While some ARE owed at least a chance to compete and never get that chance, far more are owed nothing and had a chance to compete and indulged themselves in stupid video games which is an additional variable to heap upon a persistent level of simple minded hard drug abuse (coke, meth, crack). Video games are legal and much more time is wasted on that than the meth scene.

American culture enjoyed a single language and everyone pulling for our country. Today, we’ve got millions of immigrants that don’t know Thomas Jefferson from Al Capone. Most don’t know Babe Ruth from John Doe. Beyond that, we simply are overpopulating ourselves into a civilization with water shortages, energy crises, gridlock, air pollution and an unsustainable future. I am astounded that the vast majority of Americans are too stupid, or too lazy or too fat or too apathetic to see what they bequeath to their children. We prove a civilization in decline and ultimate collapse. FW

They will arrive from Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, China, India, Indonesia and everywhere from third world countries where poverty, illiteracy and disease run rampant across the planet.

This country is already rife with relative poverty, since there is no effort to create standards for citizenship or develop citizens -amongst those born here.

What percentage of Americans are beyond functional literacy; reading for edification? Really!

Health care??? In America?? What’s that?

Those immigrants will profoundly change the culture, language and quality of life for every American. Their numbers will profoundly change America into a polyglot nation with no identity, language or culture.

This is a nation of what? Immigrants maybe? As written before, there are no standards (no de jure enforcement = no standards) for citizenship. So what are you looking for, Christian Identity?

So what would the qualified immigrant of color do, using standards I would set? First, they want to be American, but there are enough bigots who call themselves “white” therefore that isn’t going to happen –which leaves them isolated. Since many of those bigots are uneducated functional literates living off racial entitlements, I would advise the immigrants to educate themselves and advance this country, hand in hand with Americans. That does not include the functional literates, regardless of what they look like. Everyone should speak English in this country, and at least one other language.

Just what is “American Culture?” Jazz? Red Neckin’? Ghetto crap? Barrio bs? Soccer Moms?Edsels? Hemis? Chevrolet? Hank Williams Jr? Apple Pie? Possum Pie, Dandelion control, shooting a Colt 45, drinking a Colt 45, drinking a Bud, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pink? Mc Donalds, McMansions, bigotry? Maybe it is just the cheap crasss comercialization of anything Madison Avenue generates?

Actually tell that to a citizens of France, Great Britain, Holland or Sweden! I’m just an early warning messenger. I sleep very well because I bike, climb mountains, raft rivers, canoe, race in triathlons, ski and have a great time. I’m like Edward Abbey, “try to save the planet, but have a good time on weekends!” So, I write to educate and activate. For me, it’s a calling. Hell, I raced Lance Armstrong in the Leadville 100 last year, so, I enjoy myself while I try to save my civilization. Life is good; it’s all good! Frosty
