Foreclosures in Pitkin County—-we’ll be following up on the process used by the county treasurer to offer these foreclosed properties for bidding—it is a great opportunity for the right investor — but the red tape can be an incredible entanglement—-we’ll be at the courthouse tomorrow and find out more for you.   Although the rate of foreclosures as risen within the county this year (at 45 this year compared to 15 for all of 2006)—the opportunities for re-investment are still there—-Aspen is still holding its value.
