Aspen’s former mayor John Bennett—now active in the for the forest group—will be interviewed on Wednesday in KSNO local news about the summit at the Hotel Jerome this Thursday.   Governor Bill Ritter will attend the meeting to address the spreading destruction of forests by the mountain pine beetle.
Alcohol free X games…that was supposed to be the arrangement for the event at buttermilk, but it’s true that in the past games, while no vendors have operated to the public…VIP’s have imbibed behind closed doors at the base of Buttermilk=–Pitkin County commissioners say that goes against the policy —they’ll be figuring out what to do in meetings this week.
A solid opening for the season at Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands on Saturday—all four mountains now open…
