Aspen police have released the recording of the nine-one-one call made by Brook Sheen, wife of actor Charlie Sheen, on Christmas Day.   Sheen, 44, whose legal name is Carlos Irwin Estevez, allegedly used a knife to threaten his spouse after she asked for a divorce.
The couple was renting a home at 320 West Hallam Street last Friday, Christmas morning, when the call came in to dispatch at about 8:30 a.m.
Police arrested Sheen on charges of Second Degree Assault.
Sheen did not resist arrest and spent the holiday in jail.  He’s been released and is scheduled to return to Aspen on February 8th for a court appearance.  Sheen will face charges of Second Degree Assault, menacing and criminal mischief.
Two Time overall world cup champion Lindsey Vonn, starting 15th in Austria, badly bruised a bone in her left wrist after crashing on the opening run of a Giant Slalom course on Monday.
Vonn—an Olympic favorite—was doing well after a successful weekend in Val D’lsere, France—-Doctors say it’s not an actual break—but the painful swelling is something the racer will have to deal with for the next six weeks, it’s estimated.
