Two locals are in trouble after allegedly shooting elk on conservation land owned by the town of Snowmass Village.
Angus (aka Herman) Anderson Junior of Snowmass and Dana Knight of Aspen allegedly killed three of the animals while hunting on opens space land located near the lower portion of Brush Creek Road on Sunday.
Anderson was cited for not having a valid hunting license. Both will face thousands of dollars in fines and being banned from hunting.
Susie and Joe Krabacher of Aspen have a website connection if you’d like to help the Haitian earthquake victims. www.haitichildren.com/donation.
The Krabachers operate an orphanage in the Caribbean nation—the Mercy and Sharing foundation —the complex is being used to help victims, but your donation will help save lives.
